This is a list of ingredients needed to make 16 brownies . Use this list to answer questions 4 and 5.

Deluxe Brownies
2/3 cup butter
5 squares(1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup flour


How much sugar is neededto make 8 brownies the answer the book has is 3/4 cup but im not sure how to break that problem down

Please note that if you wanted to make 8 brownies instead of 16 you should divide all of the ingredients by 2.

So if it takes 1 1/2 cups of sugar for 16 brownies, you should divide 1 1/2 by 2 and that would be the amount of sugar for 8 brownies.
