How do I 'dual boot' Windows and Linux? Also, what Linux distro should I use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can dual boot between linux and windows by installing grub and configure it well (it will be installed and configured it self if u install a linux distro.) for me i suggest ubuntu because it the most friendly one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you install ubuntu it will install grub automatically and it will be dual boot just be careful while installing and don't wipe your windows :D

using grub is easiest way...I've been using Linux mint for several years and its really cool and easy to use.

you can install dual boot. what kind of linux distro you want to use is depend on what for this linux distro for. is it only for your office job, or network configuration or for what. i recommend ubuntu that more user friendly
