I'm just a beginner. The course site states that I should download Python 2.5.4 but the closest I've found on the site link are 2.5.6 or 2.4.6. Can someone help direct me to which release to download.

It really doesn't matter, any 2.x will do it's just that 3.x works differently. I'm using 2.7 and it seems to work just fine.

Thank you.

No problem.

It's best to use Python 2.72 (the most current version compatible with most environments).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, that's what I'm using.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, most versions of 2.x will work. I also really like the portable 2.72. It has an IDLE that mimics the VBA IDLE in MS Office.

2.7.2 is working fine on mine in Windows.
