what is the semantic web mean exactly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should explore Web 2 and Web 3 technologies. Web 1 was one way. Websites would give information to users. Web 2 (which we use now) started interaction between user and website. Web 3, also improved version of semantic web, will increase this relation. Websites will behave like people. You will interact with website as you talking to a people. For example you will be able to search sentences like this : " Today I want to go this week's best movie in cinema and after cinema I want to go a Mexican restaurant which is close to cinema and popular" Also you can look at this link : http://marro.ws/i/11051

owh ok thanks, but i see that web 2.0 or web nowadays is more like interconnecting between the people, that we always call as the social media

This is also true. Web 2 means, users are interacting with websites and other users. Remember Web 1 websites. You can not publish anything. You can just reach to information provided by website. After Web 2, users became the main factor. They are creating, publishing, participating and at the same time using the information provided by websites and other users. In next 10 15 years, users will be able to search details in videos. For example you will write on YouTube or Google : "I want to see the scene in Titanic movie in which DiCaprio and Kate Winslet appear together".- Due to meta-tags included in video, in every second or millisecond. Sorry I gave you wrong link, you can look at here : http://marro.ws/i/10926
