algebra is easy ...post ure problems and people can help u.......
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yeah but i dont know what "subject" in algebra to learn now... i know linear equations, equations without numbers and i have a basic understanding of the quadratic equation.
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
what is a discriminant and when you can you us it ?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
j

just like one example
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What is binomial theorem?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes we can ...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
What is a discriminant?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
Mimi - so why ?

Inopeki yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
jhonyy, i havent learned that. at least not in english.
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
Inopeki how do you know some algebra ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Are you saying i dont know any algebra?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Binomial theorem is very useful

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
quadratic equation ???
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
how do you solve it ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Give me an example and i should be able to solve it.
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
sorry but i think with 14 years old you not can know this
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Screw this, Everybody cares too much about my age.. im just gonna go give up and not become a physicist, ok?

pa
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
pardon for this words but i think that this have learned on 7 or 8 elementary classes
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
ok for example
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I can at least try, i got it pretty good yesterday.
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
\[x ^{2}-3x +2=0\]

solve it
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Alright.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
f(x)=x^2-3x+2, am i right so far?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
yes
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
can you do it ?

Inopeki, yes that's a perfectly fine piece of notation.
Like we all said yesterday, your enthusiasm is fantastic. Why don't you continue to work through the Khan Academy material? The best way to use to this site for mathematics is to come to use with specific questions you have.
This is not an ideal place for us to systematically teach you and nearly all of us here aren't here to do that anyway.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Wait, i can do this. I did it yesterday with TT.
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
sorry but this was yesterday and now ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Its a little cloudy, im trying to remember it.
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
ok and this
3x+6=9 solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):
remove 6 from both sides of =, get 3x=3, divide them both by 3 and you get 1. x=1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
f(x)=x^2-3x+2, i have to put a number for x right?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
nice so
1/(2x) - (3+x)/(x) = 2 solve for x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Can you put that in equation form?
jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):
- this is in equation form but equation with fractional terms
