Multiply (2x + 3)(x + 4).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x*x + 2x*4 + 3*x + 3*4 = 2x^2 + 8x + 3x + 12 = 2x^2 + 11x + 12

First u have to multiply 2x with x, then u put the addition sign and then multiply 2x into 4, u then write down another addition sign and then multiply 3 with x, then another positive sign and then multiply 3 with 4.. so it'll be something like this: (2x)*(x) +(2x)*(4) + (3)*(x)+ (3)*(4) this will be simplified into: 2x62+8x+3x+12 2x^2+11x+12
