Describe TWO specific cell processes that require ATP and explain how ATP is used in each process
Glycolosis. It creates two ATP by phosphorylating ADP (adenosine diphosphate) from the endergonic breakdown of glucose. Also, there is the Krebs Cycle. Krebs Cycle uses a LOT of ADP in its phosphorylation to create an astounding THIRTY SIX ATP.
I think the question asks for processes which USE ATP, not MAKE ATP...
thanks guys
12mcguirke is rit in glycolysis first we gave two 2ATP then it gives 4ATP means net gain 2ATP and it is used to form 2moles of pyruvic acid in glycolysis it consist 10 steps the process in which ATP is used 1)when glucose is coverted into glucose6phosphate with the help of hexokinase process is called phosphorylation with respect to glucose 2)when fructose6phosphate is converted into fructose1,6Di-phospate woth the help of phospho fructo kinase(PFK) and proces is called phoshporylation with respect to fructose6phosphate phoshporylation means phospho =phoshpate and lation mean addition
