16.) The Perpendicular bisector of the segment whose endpoints are (-1,-1) & (5,7) 17.)The coordinates of the vertices of triangle ABC are A(-6,-8), B(6,4), & C(-6,10) A)Write an equation of the altitude from C to AB. B)Write an equation of the altitude from B to AC. C)Find the x-coordinate of the point of intersection of the two altitudes in parts A & B. 18.)Given Triangle MAT with vertices M(2,-1), A(4,7) & T(7,2), show tht triangle MAT is an isosceles right triangle.
please help me.
For 16.) you need to do a couple of things. First, can you find the mid-point? that is where the bisector crosses the segment. can you find the slope of the segment between points (-1,-1) and (5,7)? use change in y over change in x. The slope perpendicular to the segment is -1/m where m is the slope of the segment. Now use the point slope formula to find the equation of the line that is the perpendicular bisector.
And you should not delete your questions. That is very rude.
please help me.
sorry I thought thta was what you were supposed to do when your questions were answered so other people don't try to answer them
