Use intercepts to graph the line of this equation: 2x - 4y=16

Please help me.. I give out medals :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find x - intercept by setting y = 0 and solve you get \[2x=16\] \[x=8\] so you know \[(8,0)\] is the x-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the y - intercept set x = 0 solve \[-4y=16\] \[y=-4\] so the y - intercept is \[(0,-4)\] and those are your two intercepts
