Revolution:
The time at Valley forge was a momentous time of revolution because, while there was no battle, the continental encampment were starving, cold, and disease-ridden and the weather would beat down on them like the drummer boy on his drum. many people could not take it anymore and deserted them. after some month the weather eased up and  food and supplies began to trickle in. Baron Von Steuben came in and helped to reestablish the beaten down continental army. the renewed moral helped to get the troops going and help us win the war.
