if it takes Danny 3 hours and 40 minutes to complete a third of a job, How will it take him to complete the whole job? please help me.... dont understand the question.

3 hours and 40 minutes = 1/3 job. Therefore in order to complete a whole job. You multiply both sides by 3. 3 hours 40 minutes * 3 = 1 job 11 hours = 1 job

1 hour = 60 minutes. 3 hours and 40 minutes is a third of a whole job. A whole job is therefore 3 lots of 3 hours and 40 minutes. 3 hours x 3 = 9 hours 40 minutes x 3 = 120 minutes 120 minutes / 60 minutes = 2 hours. 9 hours + 2 hours = 11 hours.
