time= 1/frequency so the range in time period 1/20000 s to 1/20 seconds 50 micro seconds to 50 milliseconds
A period tells you how much time it takes for something (sound wave in this example) to complete it's full cycle, and frequency tells you how many cycles you get in 1 sec. So with some thinking you find out that \[T=\frac{1}{f}\] T - time period f - frequency
