I don't know how to use this to talk to you can you tell me what to do.
Do you have a math question?
Debbie if you do not type in the box to the bottom right of the screen I cannot help you to learn how to talk in this room ...
yes how do you get the answer to this problem (-6,-10) and (-7,-1) let (x1,y1) be point (-6,-10) so that x1=-6 and y1 =-10 let(x2,y2) be point (-7,-1) so that x2=-7 and y2=-1
I read your question, but what would you like us to do with (-6,-10) and (-7,-1) Find the slope? Graph it? find the midpoint? What are the directions on your paper?
find the slope
How did they get the answer -9
To make this easier for your next question. we can write the question Slope? (-6,-10) and (-7,-1)
slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (-1 - -10)/(-7 - -6) = (-1 + 10)/(-7 + 6) = 9/-1 =-9
welcome to OpenStudy!
ok can you give me some problem like this one to see if i can work them.
oh, this is not the place for me to make math quesions. Do you have a book? Can you google one at a time and post them here?
I have a math lab were I do my math home work and I will have to go back and write them down and come back.
oh and math lab also has practice questions.
yes but It did not show me how they got the answers to these kind of problems I am up in age and is going back to school and I did not do any of this in school so it is new to me the math lab do give some good example to some of the problems except for these.
I am going to school for Information Technology and I need to learn the different math that I don't know.
true, but that is not what I am saying. You asked me to make practice exercises, math lab has practice exercises and you can post them here and we can help on how to do them.
ok i understand I am going to go and try to do the one you just showed me to see if I can do them and I will be back this is not the only one that I am having problems with and thank you for your help.
(-8,-7) and (0,9) so y2-y1 is (9-7)/(0-8)
oh .. new question, please post in the box on the top right of the screen that hs "Ask a question ..."
