Depends on exactly what you want to accomplish. A very very simple website can be created using only HTML, but I doubt this is what you want. Ideally you are going to want to learn at the very least HTML and CSS, but for me I have found JavaScript to be just as important as those two. Again it depends on what you want to do. You may also want to learn PHP, ASP and a variety of other languages that are used in WebDev. A good site to start with is the W3Schools website ( http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp) They have a lot of tutorials and example that you can play around with and they are pretty much the authority on WebDev. From there you can go on to search for more specialized information if you want. Udemy ( http://www.udemy.com/) is a very cool resource that I have taken a lot of courses through. Some of the course can be a bit expensive, but there are a ton of free ones too. Hope that helps.

maybe you can start from http://www.w3schools.com for the resource. and for the web development, there are some of programming language, if you are interested try to use HTML and then you can choose PHP as the server side script.
