what is AN OBJECT THAT CANNOT BE AFFECTED BY THE TEMPERATURE

HELP:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All matter is affected by temperature.

OpenStudy (kainui):

There aren't really any objects that cannot be affected by temperature, but if you understand what temperature is, that might help. Temperature is just the average kinetic energy of particles. So all temperature really is is actually just the speed of little molecules moving around. If they are moving around fast, higher temperature, if slow, lower temperature. By this concept, a proton can't really "heat" up since there aren't really any particles to speed up or slow down at this sort of reference frame... But that gets into a deeper explanation of physics and chemistry.

everything contains mass therefore changing temperature would definitely affect the kinetic energy of that substance and thus would affect that object.....so i believe there is no such thing which is not affected by changing the temperature
