You need to go and learn the definition of |x| and then work some problems.

If I were you, I would do any of the following
- talk to your teacher
- review your notes from class
- open up your text book

Alright, I don't have a text book, my teacher is occupied, I don't have notes and i'm sure as hell I don't have time to work on some problems. I have 6 modules to finish BEFORE THE 15TH of this month. I don't know if you understand my pressure or not, but I REALLY don't have time for that.

But the fact you could not answer that question means you actually don't understand the definition of absolute value, even though a few of us helped you with this 15 days ago.

Notice that after some time, Slaaibak came to the same conclusion I did: namely, you need to learn the basic materials. Your reply to him was "they don't teach us". If that is true, you need to learn them somewhere.

If you don't have a text book, or access to a teacher, and you refuse to watch what everyone else thinks of as good teaching videos, how is it that you expect to learn the basics?

I strongly recommend you actually try the Khan Academy materials. Or even better, buy a text book! They are remarkably useful! Most of us here have used them for years and years, and that's how we learnt a large amount of the mathematics we know.

In the mean time, I shall take your advice and not trouble myself with trying to help you in the future.
