whats the order of (dy/dx)^5 + (d^2y/dx^2) +1=0 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its always first question in tests

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its second order

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why they put the stupid power near dy/dx xd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's not power , it means taking derivative twice (dy/dx)^5 + d/dx((dy/dx)) +1=0 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in different notation, it would look like this (y')^5 + y'' +1 =0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so we are multiplying y' 5 time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx 0.5Point of test just earned.
