its long time me to read this plants absorb 200 joule enrgy rit from sunlight and deer eat it and consume only 10% of 200J means it gain only 20 joule enrgy from plants now lion will consume 10%energy of 20J by eating deer and lion gain 2J energy
NOTE:whenever they eat 10% decreases from its initial energy this is called 10%law
