OpenStudy (anonymous):

log base of what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fool for maths thats the derivate of ln x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually am confused between the derivative of ln(x) and log(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

log can be assumed as ln,log_2 or log_10 simply log means common logarithm that we use.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Imranmeah....in general... what will be the derivative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=log_{10} x\] \[10^y=x\] implicitly differentiate 10^y log[10] y' = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks imranmeah and foolformaths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y'= 1 ----- 10^y log[10] y'= 1 ----------- x log[10]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Glad to help :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10^y=10^Log[x]= x
