Accessing question through user profile and posting in it doesn't make you automatically join that group. I am pretty sure it was like this some time ago? Is it intended? I didn't find anything about it in other update posts.

I think it might be weird if you answered a question on a profile, went back to your groups, and suddenly found yourself in a new group.

It's ok for me, just it wasn't mentioned anywhere that it's changed, so I was wondering

and if it matters I believe that medals achievements are not counted then and answer is not shown in profile in questions answered tab
