evaluate limit lim_x approaches 4 (x-4)^3/l 4-x l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[lim_{x \rightarrow 4} \frac{(x-4)^3}{| 4-x |}\]like that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would be zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pliz help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to show ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[|4-x|=|x-4|=\sqrt{(x-4)^2}\] you can divide by this to get \[(x-4)^2\] and that limit is certainly zero
