Hey... I have just started MIT 18.06 my algebra basics are little rusty. Should I start with some refreshing.. may be some khan academy videos or smth... or would it be a waste of time?!

I am about at 2/3 of 18.06. I say most of stuff covered only deals with +,*, ax+by = c. all basic stuff.

being able to handle ax+by = 0 cx+dy= 0 helps.
some calculus(derivatives) are mentioned, but it shouldn't affect your understanding of the core concept of linear algebra covered in the class.
