In △RST, what is the length of RT?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

45 degree angle e.g this triangle is half of a square -> sqrt(16^2+16^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is the answer \[16\sqrt{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really? thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no prob. just tell me what was hard about it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't get these... at all lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these are easy - you need to memorize by heart that 45degrees is half a square and sqrt(2) is the diagonal of a square with side length 1 . you also need to know the 60-90-30 degrees triangle. which is half of a triangle with equal sides. thats all.

can you help me on the other one? haha and thanks btw
