45 degree angle e.g this triangle is half of a square -> sqrt(16^2+16^2)

i don't get these... at all lol
these are easy - you need to memorize by heart that 45degrees is half a square and sqrt(2) is the diagonal of a square with side length 1 . you also need to know the 60-90-30 degrees triangle. which is half of a triangle with equal sides. thats all.
can you help me on the other one? haha and thanks btw
