I would say that answers B and C are just speaking to "grammatical correctness."  Of course they are important, basic requirements.  But the suggestion in answer A will lead to varied sentences and an "enhanced writing flow."

A-C are all correct. But A shows that different types of sentences make for more interesting reading. If all your sentences are "He did this, "She did that," it can become monotonous. But varying the types of sentences produces variety for the reader.
