∑[n=1,∞,((-1)^(n-1))/(4^(n)(x-1)^(2n))] Series

So what's your question about this?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

(@across, apropos our last conversation, this is where I do try and educate as at least the mathematics is somewhat coherent.)

@JamesJ Series i'm bad in series

OpenStudy (jamesj):

But what in particular do you want to know? Do you want to know the x for which this converges? Or are you looking for an expression for this series? Or what? Ask a well posed question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya ,, expression

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Use the method of your last question. Try and find an expression r such that your sum is \[ \sum_{n=1}^\infty ar^n \] Then you can use the expression for the sum of r^n we used last time.

tnx.....
