how to calculate the current in all branches of circuit looks like this [b]= battery both batterys have positive north. [r]= resistor ____________________________ | | | [r] 2ohm [r]5ohm [r]3ohm | | | [b]10v | [b]8v | | | -------------------------

nodal analysis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you please go more in depth , as have been trying for ages and just cant understand it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh you can draw this is what i have so far

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok the draw does not work very well.

Using nodal analysis you would do a KCL (kirchhoff current law) at the top. Call the voltage there Vo. so 0= (Vo-10)/2+Vo/5+(Vo-8)/3. From there you can use ohms law to find the current. V=IR

After you solve for Vo that is.

sorry i still don't understand, but i will give u "good answer" for trying if noone answers it soon , thanks
