graph 3x + 2y = -2

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

first write it in the form: y = mx + c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then what

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

Then get the y-intercept by setting x=0 Then get the x-intercept by setting y=0 Plot those two points and draw a straight line through it.

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

the basic aim of getting the y intercept and x intercept is that you get 2 points, and using those two points you can make a line by joining them. Now we can use any points but it easier when we substitute zero as one of the variables and so the method given by slaaibak is a very good one

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

can you do that?
