Can someone help m?..How do you do rate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What kind of rate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Distance=rt rate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k wait a sec let me check that one up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not quite sure what you are looking for. what level of math r u in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Algebra 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it is simple okkkk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so lets say you are travellling at a rate of 12 miles per hour and you travelled for 2 hours then you multiply the rate by the time which is 12*2=24 so the distance is 24 miles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did u get that? it is more like logical but i dont think i explained it properly :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D Its good enough thanks so much! I understand it so much better

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But you basically take the rate and multiply it by the time and that will give you the distance but make sure to remember to use the units it was gven in so if they used miles then stick to miles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could i help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

was i wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh good :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks 4 the medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya y not? u still got a way to go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your right
