Conversions for statistical measures. Answer key says that the correct answer is D, but I don't understand how to arrive at this answer. Please help. http://tinypic.com/r/6zwrxe/5

Do you know that 1 mi = 1.609 km and 1 liter = .26 gallon?

No, I didn't know that. I didn't think to use dimensional analysis because the problem seemed straight forward as to implying that I just needed to multiply by the factor. Thing is, I learned that multiplying by the new factor increased the mean and the median by the same amount. The variance, however, would be converted by multiplying by the square of the new factor. I hope this reasoning is correct, because it did allow me to arrive at the correct answer. Thanks for your help with attempting the problem another way.
