no its not harder i never found that..... i m in 11 and even i m loving this subject .. may be the way u study makes u feel that it is harder............. i ll give u hint wen u study bio any topic first saw video regarding that topic then make ur own impt. point which was said in video then read ur text book u ll nt feel it hard and ur notes provided to u or u made by ur own notes of bio always use colourful pens so wen u do revision u dont fell not to open copy as i also feel if my notes are in black and blue in colour it looks so boring even if u had coloured notess u ll get attract and u can read it... try it .. a comics luk colourful so we read make ur note like comic book.. i always make it like that or in chart way ...

good luck im in 9th too I don't love it but after a while its been getting easier.
oh and btw it wouldn't be a worldwide subject and required to learn if it wasn't important
