Can @Across help me on this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2/5 x - 9 < 9/10???

OpenStudy (ash2326):

-2/5 x - 9 < 9/10??? add 9 to both sides -2/5 x<9/10+9 -2/5 x<99/10 multply bot side by -5/2, this will change the sign of inequality x>99*(-5)/(2*10) x>-99/4

You rock! Thanks!<3

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

add nine to both sides times both sides by five divide both sides by negative two (remember to change the direction of the inequality because we are multiplying by a negative)

OpenStudy (ash2326):

welcome :)

I'm sorry that I didn't see your question on time, but since you mentioned me, I'll post here and tell you that I would've explained it to you the same way ash2326 did. :) <3
