How would math work if there was another integer between two existing numbers? For example. The normal number sequence is 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 But what if there was a new number invented, hypothetically "ber," was placed between 1 and 2. So the new sequence would be 0 1 Ber 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 How would math work.

Well, math would work as usual, except that now we'd be working on a base 11 number system.

ber would have a value... we'll just work with that value with the rules already existing

This arises the question of why did we choose base 10 in the first place ?

base 11 already exists... without "ber" in it...
