Well MYSQL is Oracle and I LOVE using it becuase it intertwines greatly and easly with easy servers such as wamp and xampp,

I prefer SQL Server because installation is so much easier, and because the size of the client is so very much smaller. Plus, C# in Visual Studio has built in support for SQL Server.

SQL Server is like a family car that just works as soon as you buy it. Oracle is like a racing car that you have to build yourself. You can get it to go way fast, but if you build it wrong, you can slow it down big time.

but for entreprise i prefer using Oracle, for just a personal or startup prefer use SQL server, and why don't you try PL/SQL
