How do I find the coordinates of the vertices of the figure formed by each system of inequalities: y+x ">=" -9 y ">=" x-7 2y + x"<=" 16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to graph inequalities?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to graph straight lines ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Algebra is very tough for me...what do you mean by straight lines? Yes for basic graphing, no for inequalities if that makes sense...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if i tell you graph x+y=9 you know how to do it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, sort of...using an x/y table?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah whatever method, so if you want to graph the first inequality x+y>=9, so first you draw the graph of x+y=9 which looks like |dw:1326255853342:dw|
