I have a problem in my calculus text, just started and I'm reviewing old stuff. 3x2+5x-2<0 Factored: (3x-1)(x+2)<0 My solution: (-infinity, 1/3) The books solution: (-2, 1/3) Which is correct? Thank you in advance!

Does the '-1' in (3x-1) cause the '<' to flip when dividing out?
