In a food web, is the direction of flow of energy unidirectional or multidirectional? Please justify.

food-web cannot be considered as unidirectional as more than one organim may feed on one another however the enegy passed on to other organisms under the web is unidirectional
ie the energy aparticular animal gets after consuming another cannot be reversed back to the original animal
