WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS ARE TRUE ABOUT THE FIGURE BELOW ITS A CIRCLE

|dw:1326309634733:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. IT IS A POINT B.IT CAN GROW INTO A THREE DIMENSIONAL OBJECT C. IT IS A TWO DIMENSIONAL OBJECT D.IT HAS THREE MEASUREMENTS ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I WAS THINKING B AND c ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK YOU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SAYS THATS INCORRECT ?

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

well it's definitely c because it has not thickness.

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

But I am only aware of three measurements of a circle; radius, circumference , and diameter, but I could be wrong.

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

Actually I guess I'm over looking area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the center of a sphere can be represented by a point , sphere is three dimensional object, similarly center of circle is also a point. Logically we may say that when a circle shrinks it finally becomes a point , and also when a sphere shrinks it also finally becomes a point, so we can conclude that a circle first shrinks and becomes a point and then that point again expands three dimensionally to become a sphere , so B an C options are right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a circle is considered a one dimensional object

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but when both circle and sphere shrink, they finally become the same thing , that is point
