What is the most important reason to publish results as part of the scientific process? a. It allows other scientists to check findings. b. It gives the scientific community recognition. c. It helps establish sources of funding. d. It helps the public learn about science.

I think its d, but im not sure

OpenStudy (blues):

All four are good. I think the 'correct' answer would be a. Of course, none of us in science will really admit that we like being recognized for our work, that we're keenly aware of what is and is not a 'grantable' and 'citeable' research project, or that we give a toss what the public thinks of our work. ;D
