What is the area of a 8m by 14m rhombus?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

You can't have an 8 by 14 rhombus because a rhombus is a parallelogram with 4 congruent sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But if you did have a 8 x 14 rhombus, (which is not possible), it would be 8*14 =112

OpenStudy (anonymous):

112 m of course

OpenStudy (mertsj):

@vinathi It would not. You would have to find the altitude. The area of a parallelogram is base times height NOT length times width

there's the picture i asked the question wrong. sorry.
