Organic compounds are usually much smaller than macromolecules. Macromolecules are, by definition, composed of multiple subunits and are usually incredibly large. Think of a ribosome (enormous, tens of thousands of atoms) as compared to a simple alkane like butane (tiny, ten atoms). There is a whole system of very strict nomenclature for naming each individual organic compound, if that's what you're actually asking about.
