The translation is x= -3. The graph moves over to the left (X-axis; negative direction) 3 units, making the original graph the graph of y=x^2 and the second graph the equation y=x^2-3.

This new translation is 2 units in the y direction, thus the equation is y=x^2 + 2. The equation of the previous one (gph5) would actually be y = (x+2)^2. My fault.
