Out of the options, the best choice is D. Not actually what the definition provides as examples based on the physical geology reference ( http://www.tulane.edu/~sanelson/geol111/glaciers.htm). Answer B isnt relative to this question; as for A, mountains are formed by plate action or magma; C, refers to glacial ice that becomes the glacier.
