MIT 6.00 Intro Computer Science (OCW)
3 Online
This is my first OCW class as well. I have zero programming experience, and after watching first lecture feel pretty excited about it. I have been looking at a lot of other people's questions on here to see what sort of challenge I have ahead of me.. and wow.. it looks tough. I know the professor mentioned this class is for people who have no programming background... is there anyone else in here who was in my shoes and, if so, can you offer some words of motivation? Thanks!

The exercises are indeed difficult. But if you are patient and willing to struggle it will start to make sense. It's like learning a foreign language in a foreign country. Initially nothing will seem to make sense. Keep at it and over time you will become fluent.
