From back when OpenStudy allowed questions across multiple groups...
When you answered a question across different groups, you'd be awarded a medal in each, and automatically be added to it. That was all fine and dandy until unscrupulous individuals starting posting across 30 groups for no particular reason, and you got added to all of them. I'm now Level 1 (or very low-level) in about 1000 obscure groups, and although I've "Left" the groups, they remain on my profile - have a look at it to see what I mean. Is there any way to scrub some of these, get rid of them from the profile?
I have the same question, though for a different reason. It seems there is no way to look in on a group and check it out *without* joining it. I've done that with several groups, saw that they were not groups that would work for me, and so then left them (by clicking "Leave Group"). These left groups do disappear from the navigation, but not the profile. I too would like to remove groups I've left from the profile page.
Hmm... An interesting point. We'll look into it for sure, thanks for mentioning it!
Thanks shadowfiend =)
