can someone help me with this PLEASE!!!! For a holiday party, Kathleen is making a six-layer torte, which consists of six 8-inch diameter cake layers with a cream topping on each layer. She knows that one recipe of cream will cover 50 square inches of cake. How many batches of the topping must she make to complete her torte? ( A = p )(Use p = 3.14 as an approximate value)
Find area of the "circle". And, then, it is a simple matter of dividing.
Do you know how to find the area of the circle with given diameter?
6 to 7 as the area of one cake will be pie * r(square) that will be equal to 50.24 square inch if we take pie=3.14 ans since diameter is 8 inch radius will be 4 inch.... but we have 6 such cakes so we will require 6 to 7 batches of topping.... actually 6 only we can neglect the .24
