Would any of you be able to tell me how I'd go about answering the following question; A gun is fired at 45 degrees to the horizontal. The bullets initial speed is 400m/s. Calculate the parameters of the bullet (v, v0, a, s and t) for the top of its flight path and when it lands on the ground again.

OpenStudy (jamesj):

First, think about the trajectory of the bullet in the x direction and y directions. What are the equations of motion for the bullet in each direction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do I not need another piece of information i.e. time, distance etc. to be able to use the equations of motion?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

No, you have everything you need.
