OpenStudy (amistre64):

first, look at the line ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

oh, there it is :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

from left to right, does it go up or down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

down

OpenStudy (amistre64):

make sure you are looking at the right one the yellow one; if you walk along it from left to right; do you go up? or down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh up i was looking at the wrong line

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) up is positive; so our slope is going to have a positive value

OpenStudy (amistre64):

now, does it go up real quick? or is it kinda flat?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know the answer but i wanna know how i get the answer

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you start at the leftmost point of it; and you see how far over and up it goes; then slope is simply up/over

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it goes 2 over and 8 up 8/2 = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (amistre64):

rise/run = slope :)

OpenStudy (wasiqss):

amistre well done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slope is 4/1 6-(-2)/7-5
