-x + 7 > 10 subtract 7 from both sides -x > 3 divide both sides by -1 and change the inequality sign x < -3 Since there is no equality, we use a dashed boundary line and since this is a vertical line, we will neither shade above or below the line, but to the left of the line since smaller numbers are found to the left of the number line
