How do I solve this inequality: 9p<8p-18 I'd appreciate it if someone could explain the steps to me so I can do the rest of my homework on my own instead of relying on all of you guys to help :) Thanks!

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

ok

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

the first step subtract 8p on both the sides

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

so you have \[9p - 8p < 8p-18-8p\] therefore \[p < -18\]

Thank you, once again :)
