need help with excel anyone available

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you need?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

adjust the references in the formulas of rows 12 and 13 by adding the sheet reference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Don't really understand what for, but here is an example for cell B12: =('Jul-Dec'!B6*'Jul-Dec'!$B$32)+('Jul-Dec'!B7*'Jul-Dec'!$B$33) Then you can copy paste the entire row. Was that your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The same for row 13. Got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what the instructions tell me to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to access the watch window?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nevertheless, with excel you don't need to worry about that, because in the case you need the content of the cells for a computation, at the moment of typing in the formula using the mouse to pick the cells, automatically the sheet reference is included. PS: Haven't even heard of the "watch window", sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i havent either but its in the assignment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

easy to use, try it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gotta go Tina-ann, Good Luck with the assignment!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so copying that formula to the next cell would be =('Jul-Dec'!C6*'Jul-Dec'!$B$32)+('Jul-Dec'!$B$33)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nop, it should be =('Jul-Dec'!C6*'Jul-Dec'!$B$32)+('Jul-Dec'!C7*'Jul-Dec'!$B$33). A very safe way to work with formulas in excel is using the mouse. right click, "copy" and "paste" in the next cell or drag it or highlight the cells where you want to copy the formula and ctrl+v. (At least until you get the grasp of it, use the mouse as much as you can so excel does all the references for you)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You were missing the C7 in the second parentheses
